Joshua Tree Gay Pride July 1, 2010 The rainbow flags flew, the politicians flapped. Art and games and music were everywhere at the 2nd annual Gay Pride Day at Art Queen in Joshua Tree. Hundreds gathered for a day of fun and solidarity. A sad little group of about seven cross-bearing protesters stood across the 6-lane highway huddling in the shade, their chants unheard and their signs unreadable who shall remain anonomous and invisible.
